Following the tragic demise of the chief executive officer (CEO) of Access Bank, Herbert Wigwe, in a chopper crash, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, on Sunday, February 11, announced he would be missing the Super Eagles of Nigeria’s final with the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire in the 2023 AFCON match.

Wigwe died in a helicopter crash alongside his wife, son and four others in the United States.
