On Tuesday, a WSDOT contractor will return to the southbound I-5 North Fork Lewis River Bridge to smooth out the center lane
WOODLAND – Drivers using southbound Interstate 5 through Woodland next week should expect delays.
On Tuesday, Nov. 19, Washington State Department of Transportation contractor, M.J. Hughes Construction, will return to the southbound I-5 North Fork Lewis River Bridge to smooth out the center lane. During earlier repairs, crews worked in a small space and had to finish the lane by hand, which left the driving surface rough and bumpy. This work will help improve the center lane, making it smoother and safer.
What to expect
- From 8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19 to 6 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 20: The left and center lanes of the southbound I-5 North Fork Lewis River Bridge, between mileposts 19 and 20, will close overnight.
To keep everyone safe, people are asked to slow down, pay attention, and use caution while driving through the work zone.
