UncategorizedI’m shattered, Naira Marley mourns Mohbad by admin September 16, 2023 written by admin September 16, 2023 Bookmark 16Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has mourned the death of a former signee under his record label, Aloba Promise, known as Mohbad.Naira Marley said that Mohbad “was more than an artiste or signee but brother and dear friend” to him.He said this via his Instagram handle on Friday night, in a statement personally signed by him, on behalf of the Marlian Record label.PUNCH Online reports that Mohbad died at the age of 27.Some of the popular songs of the late singer include KPK, Peace, Komajesun, Pariwo, and many more.The cause of his death has yet to be revealed. He, however, has been buried in Ikorodu, Lagos State.“From inception, we recognised Mohbad was a force to be reckoned with. His music gave so many people love and light. Mohbad touched us all with his heartfelt lyrics, story telling, infectious smile and energy. The news of his passing has left us with a permanent hole in our hearts,” part of the statement read.In another post on his Instagram handle, he posted a video of the late singer the caption, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Rest in perfect peace my broski 💡 🕊. I’m shattered 💔💔#Imole’sWorld💡. Got u forever bro.”Naira Marley has since used Mohbad’s picture as his Instagram profile image. All rights reserved.
